If you have been playing poker for a while, I am almost sure that you hear about him but you don’t really know where you hear his name. He also has a seat at the famous poker Hall of Fame. This guy did one of the best bluffs ever. He is also famous for “A chip and a Chair”. Once, he was playing one of the WSOP tournaments and he was playing a game against another player. The player got a pair of ACES; But Jack Straus went all in without saying it (it is important) so he went all in but he didn’t announce it. The guy called and he won. Jack Straus was close to leave when he saw one of his chips underneath the felt. He could play it because he didn’t say all in and you know what, he won the tournament. So this is why this citation is so popular, “A chip and a Chair”! It is just unbelievable!
